Booking terms
Last updated: 20 October 2026
This English version is provided for convenience; the French version prevails in case of discrepancy.
These terms apply to every booking of a property presented by Mogador Conciergerie, whether it is made on this website, by email or on WhatsApp. You accept them when you book, before any payment. The rules specific to each property (arrival and departure times, capacity, minimum stay, security deposit, “Good to know”) are set out on its listing and form part of these terms.
1. Who we are
Mogador Conciergerie is a brand operated by MOGADOR CONCIERGERIE LLC, a limited liability company registered in the State of Wyoming (United States) under number 2026-002072170, with its registered office at 5830 E 2nd St, Ste 7000, Casper, WY 82609, United States. Contact: contact@mogador-conciergerie.com, +33 6 30 36 74 42 (WhatsApp).
The properties belong to private owners who entrust their letting and management to Mogador Conciergerie. Mogador Conciergerie acts in the name and on behalf of these owners, as their agent. Throughout your stay, Mogador Conciergerie is your sole point of contact.
2. Booking
- Direct booking (Essaouira properties): the booking is binding as soon as the deposit is paid online. A confirmation with its reference is sent to you by email.
- Booking on request (Marrakech properties): you send a request, without payment. We confirm availability within 2 hours and send you a secure payment link; the booking is binding as soon as the deposit is paid.
- Booking with the team (WhatsApp, email): same terms; the booking is binding once the deposit is paid.
The person making the booking must be of legal age and must stay in the property. They undertake that the information they provide is accurate, in particular the number of guests and their ages.
3. Prices
- Prices are shown in euros, including all taxes. The price of a stay depends on the dates chosen; the price shown at the time of booking is guaranteed.
- The price of the stay covers the rental of the property; the end-of-stay cleaning fee, shown on each listing, is added to it.
- A 5% service fee is added to the price of the stay and of the packs; it covers, in particular, payment costs.
- No tourist tax is charged on top.
- Meals at the villa are paid on site, at the price per person per day shown at the time of booking: 50% for children aged 2 to 10, free for babies. Activities and services on request are subject to a quote, with no obligation.
- Amounts shown in a currency other than the euro (£, $, MAD) are for information only: payment is always charged in euros, and your bank applies its own exchange rate.
4. Payment
- Deposit: 20% of the price of the stay and the cleaning fee, paid at the time of booking by card, on the secure payment page of our payment provider, Stripe. Mogador Conciergerie never has access to your card details.
- Balance (stay, packs and service fee, less the deposit): no later than 30 days before arrival, via a secure payment link sent by email; for a booking made less than 30 days before arrival, within 48 hours. If the balance is not paid by the due date and a reminder goes unanswered, Mogador Conciergerie may cancel the booking; the cancellation is then handled in accordance with Article 6.
- On site: meals, activities and services on request are paid in cash.
5. Security deposit
A security deposit, the amount of which is shown on the property’s listing, is guaranteed by a card authorisation taken through our payment provider, Stripe, before or on your arrival. No money is charged at this stage: your card is simply stored securely, or the amount is temporarily put on hold. Mogador Conciergerie never has access to your card details.
The authorisation is released no later than 7 days after the check-out inspection. If damage, missing items or exceptional cleaning are found, the corresponding amount is charged within the same period, on the basis of supporting evidence, up to the amount of the security deposit. The time it then takes for the funds to actually become available on your account depends on your bank.
6. Cancellation by the guest
Any cancellation must be made in writing, to contact@mogador-conciergerie.com or on WhatsApp; the date on which we receive it is the date that counts.
- More than 60 days before arrival: the deposit is refunded.
- Between 60 and 30 days before arrival: the deposit is kept; the balance, if already paid, is refunded.
- Less than 30 days before arrival, or failure to turn up on the day of arrival: the full price of the stay remains payable.
- Leaving early or arriving late does not entitle you to any refund.
Refunds are made within 14 days, to the card used for payment. A request to change dates is considered subject to availability; if it cannot be accepted, it is treated as a cancellation. We recommend that you take out cancellation insurance.
7. Cancellation or changes by Mogador Conciergerie
If the property becomes unavailable before your arrival (owner’s decision, damage, force majeure), we will offer you an equivalent or better property, at no extra cost. If you decline it, all sums paid will be refunded to you within 14 days.
8. Right of withdrawal
Renting a property for specific dates does not give rise to the 14-day withdrawal period that applies to distance purchases (Article L221-28, 12°, of the French Consumer Code; Article 16 of European Directive 2011/83/EU). The cancellation terms in Article 6 apply.
9. Arrival, stay and departure
- Arrival and departure times are shown on the property’s listing. Your concierge will welcome you on site: let them know your arrival time, and tell them about any delay.
- An inspection is carried out on arrival and on departure; report any defect you notice on the same day.
- The property cannot accommodate more guests than the capacity shown on its listing (babies under 2 are not counted; a cot is provided on request). Any additional person, even a visitor, must be declared to us and accepted.
- Parties and events are prohibited without prior written consent: for a wedding or a private event, see our Events page.
- The rules specific to the property (smoking, pets, noise, equipment) are set out in the “Good to know” section of its listing and must be complied with. Pets are accepted only with our prior consent.
10. Safety
Swimming pools are not supervised: children must remain at all times under the supervision and responsibility of their parents or accompanying adults. Guests are responsible for their personal belongings; Mogador Conciergerie is not liable for loss or theft, unless it is at fault.
11. Meals, activities and services
- Meals are prepared at the villa by a cook, shopping and ingredients included. Tell us about any allergies and dietary requirements when you book: we pass them on to the cook, but cannot guarantee the complete absence of traces of allergens.
- Activities are provided by independent partner providers, under their own responsibility. They are confirmed together with their quote, may have a minimum age, and may be postponed or cancelled in the event of bad weather or for your safety.
12. Guest’s liability
The guest is liable for any damage caused to the property, its furniture and its equipment during the stay, whether by themselves or by the people accompanying them. These costs are deducted from the security deposit and, beyond that amount, invoiced on the basis of supporting evidence. Holiday rental insurance is recommended.
13. Complaints
During your stay, report any problem to your concierge straight away, by WhatsApp or by phone: we will act as quickly as possible. After the stay, a complaint may be sent in writing to contact@mogador-conciergerie.com within 15 days of departure.
14. Force majeure
Neither the guest nor Mogador Conciergerie is liable for a failure to perform caused by a force majeure event (natural disaster, decision by the authorities, epidemic, border closure, etc.). Sums paid for nights that cannot be provided are then refunded, or carried over to a new stay if you prefer.
15. Personal data
The information provided when you book is used to organise the booking and to welcome you. How it is processed is explained in our privacy policy.
16. Governing law and jurisdiction
These general terms and conditions and any contract concluded via the website are governed by the law of the State of Wyoming (United States), excluding its conflict-of-laws rules. In the event of a dispute, the parties will first seek an amicable solution. Failing agreement within thirty days, the dispute will be brought before the competent courts of the State of Wyoming, subject to the mandatory provisions that allow a consumer customer to bring proceedings before the courts of their place of residence.
This clause does not deprive the customer of the protection afforded by the mandatory provisions of the law of their country of residence, where those provisions apply.
